He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Thomas Rhodes and Bertha Saddler Rhodes; his son Eddie; and his siblings, Jim, Bobby, Gary, Clarence Rhodes, Lillian, Margaret, Minnie and Janet.
He is survived by: his son Robert; and his sisters, Helen Richards of Pennsylvania, Lura Alice Adkins of Beckley and Betty Williams of Beckley.
