She is survived by: her children, James Schofield (Almetra) of Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey Schofield (Yolanda) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Janelle Schofield of Mt. Hope, WV and Jamara Johnson (Victor) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchild Janae; her siblings, Annette Sanders of Beckley, WV, David Robinson (Debby) of Beckley, WV, Delores Stewart (Ernest) of Beckley, WV, Barbara Coleman of Beckley, WV, Olinda "Blondie" Smith (Wilbert) of Beckley, WV and Clifton Robinson; her close friends, Nita Myers and Kim Gilbert; and her caregiver Lavern Austin of Beckley, WV. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Rhona briefly worked in food service and early in the Covid-19 pandemic, she crafted and supplied masks to many, near and far.
