He is survived by: his son Roger Dale McAlpine Jr. of Beckley; his granddaughters, Brandi Joy McAlpine of Shelbyville, TN and Haileigh Persinger of Beckley; his great grandchild Aiden Tyler; and his siblings, LaDonna Meadows of Beckley, Judy Richards of Prosperity, Nancy Bolen (Mitch) and Bobby Joe McAlpine (Shirley) of Pipestem.
