He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Adkins and Marcella Adkins; and his brothers, John and Kenneth Conklin. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Allen; and his sisters, Caretta Anderson (Mark) of Springfield, VA, Claytina Shepherd (Terry) of Beckley, WV, Dianna Adkins of Walnut Cove, NC, Sandra Pittman (Charlie) of Crab Orchard, WV and Peggy Trump (Bryan). He is also survived by extended family, lifelong friends.
