He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeland Ball Sr. and Amanda Dingess Ball; and his siblings, John, Earl, Bob, Freeland Jr., Berl, Les and Lucille Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Norine Ball; his children, Shirley Ann Meadows (Kenneth) of Pluto Road, WV, Rick Ball (Lori) of Beckley, WV and Steve Ball (Angie) of Fincastle, VA.; his granddaughters, Olivia, Lesleigh and Amelia Ball; and his sister Donna Ball Mann (Jim) of Newport, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to Maxwell Baptist Church in memory of Moe.
