With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley White of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2026 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley White to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernestine L. M. Gallaway and Willie White Sr.; her siblings, Willie "Bill" White, Florence Spinks-Smith, Judy Austin and Carlos Austin; and her aunts and uncles, James Davis, John Davis (Barbie), Violet Burley, Bettie Wilson (Lee), Sadie Davis-Reynolds, Charles Davis, Joan McCoy, Annie Washington and Zelma Mitchell.

She is survived by: her siblings, John Austin, Joseph Austin, Michael Austin (Shannon Austin) and Jackie Gallaway; her aunts, Evelyn Watson and Virginia "May" Hall; and her uncle Joe Davis (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
