He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Grizzel and Nora Grizzel (Anderson); his wife Margaret Grizzel (Scott); and his siblings, John, Luther II, Robert Grizzel, Bobbie Joyner, Dorothy Kruger and Leona Grizzel.
He is survived by: his sons, Eugene Grizzel (Barbara) of Wellston, OH, Stephen Grizzel (Lisa) of Wellsburg, WV, Ronald Grizzel (Jackie) of Raleigh, NC and Mark Grizzel (Holly Maroney) of Wellsburg, WV.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
