In loving memory of Chad Eric Carpenter (Belington, West Virginia), who departed this world on October 5, 2025 at the age of 50. Chad leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Larry James and Karen Sue Herron Carpenter; his wife Stephanie Miller Shy; his child Tylin Carpenter (Hannah) of Volga, WV.; his stepdaughter Shawna Williams; his sister Crystal Suder (Mike) of Belington; his grandchildren, Kyler and Lincoln; his parents-in-law, Jennie Miller of Huntington and Kenny Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Lauren Reed and J. R. Reed. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel (56 N Brandenburg St, Belington, WV 26250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Animal Friends of Barbour County, 320 Valley Bend Road, Belington, WV 26250.
