Donald Bibey Obituary
Donald Ray Bibey, age 64, a resident of Belington, WV., passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his residence with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren by his side while under the care of Mountain Hospice, he had been in declining health.
He was born on June 5, 1961, in Elkins, a son to the late Kermit Lee Bibey and Reva June (Richardson) Bibey.
On July 1, 1980, he joined hands in marriage to the former Mary Etta Fowler who survives at their home. They would celebrate 45 years together.
Donald leaves behind three sons and their spouses; Kevin Redding, Donald R. Bibey Jr., (Rachel Kelly), and Timmy Bibey (Chelesa Farley.). His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Bo, Luke, and Daizy Bibey, brothers; Timothy Alan Bibey of Locust Grove, VA., and James William Bibey of Elkins, sisters; Delores Walton, Victora Dawn Bibey, and Virginia (Bibey) Hilton, all of Locust Grove VA., several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding him death besides his parents was a brother; David Bibey, sister; Deborah Haddix.
He was well known for his multifaceted skills as a master mechanic, electrician, carpenter, and a plumber, truly a jack of all trades. Throughout his life Donald was revered for his deep knowledge and a passionate, caring, loving, strong will, happy, and easy-going nature. He found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and cherished time spent with family and friends. He loved listening to classic rock music while working on backyard projects with his sons, which were among his favorite past times.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave. Philippi from 1pm until 5pm at which time a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Palmer as the celebrant. In honoring Donald's wishes his remains will be cremated. be cremated. The Kittle Family Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
