He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Buck" Phillips and Patricia Ann Phillips; his son Edward N. Phillips; and his brother Richard Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Debra Lynn McGee; and his children, Jennifer Watson, Shannon Everson (Walter) of Rainelle, WV and Tiffany Everson (Anthony) of Murrells Inlet, SC.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
