Esther Rhoades Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Rhoades of Belington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis W. Rhoades and Madge E. Golden Rhoades; her husband Vernon B. Shope; her sister Sara Harris; her brother-in-law Grover Harris; and her brother John Elbert Rhoades.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Sisolack (Johnny) of Belington and Anna Shope of Pittsburgh; her sisters, Rebecca Whitehall (Charlie) of Keyser, WV and Nancy Harper (Woodrow) of Texas; her granddaughter Michelle Sisolack; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Brooke Sisolack and MyKiah Sisolack.
