He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ray "Hob" and Luella Belle Coberly (Kittle); and his sisters, Karen Sue Heatherly (Coberly) and Sharon Kay Coberly. He is survived by: his children, Eric Coberly (Amy) of Kenna, WV and Melanie Brown (Clif) of Hume, VA.; his grandchildren, Megan Bowman (C. J.), Nicole Hitt (Ryan), Emma Coberly (Drew Jordan), Ashley Yagel (Josh) and Leann Brown (Nicolas Maybach); and his great grandchildren, Liam Tavarez, Lily Bowman, Layne Hitt, Eli Bowman, Parker Yagel and Wyatt Yagel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a whole host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel (56 N Brandenburg St, Belington, WV 26250). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Valley Bend Baptist Church (C/o Eric Simpson 569 Joseph Chapel Road, Belington, WV 26250.).
