With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Michael Ervin (Belington, West Virginia), who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to George Michael's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration George Michael has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Leon and Sylvia Belle Ervin (Ferguson); and his brother Roger L. Ervin. He is survived by: his wife Merlie Sabido Ervin (George); and his sons, Mike Ervin (Amber) of Moatsville and Bryan Ervin of Philippi.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the fund for the memorial pavilion in the Philippines where a portion of George's cremains will be laid to rest (C/o Mike Ervin 1214 Frost Run Road Moatsville, WV 26405).
