He was predeceased by: his parents, James William "Bill" Sr. and Janis Thema Wiseman Pharis; his wife Mary Ellen Taylor; and his sisters, Linda C. Cox and Karen S. Snyder.
He is survived by: his siblings, James W. "Butch" Pharis Jr. (Nancy) of Junior, Janet L. Baisi of Kenova and Gloria J. Pudder of Junior. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Cemetery (535 Trinity Rd, Belington, WV 26250).
