William Porter Cross Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Porter Cross of Belington, West Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Lovett and Nancy Ellen Harvey Cross; his wife Sharon Lynn Kittle; his siblings, Jennie Cline, Shirley Kelley, Edna Cross, Dorothy Tenney, Sarah Tenney and George Melvin Cross; and his niece Tammy Smith.
He is survived by: his son William Aaron Cross (Holly) of Alexandria, VA; his grandsons, William and George Cross; and his siblings, Hallie Shahan, Wilma Shue of Elkins and Junior Cross (Phyllis) of Belington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a whole host of extended family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The D.A.V. 860 Dolwick Dr, Erlanger, KY 41018.
