She was predeceased by: her parents, John Terry and Alma Kincaid Terry; and her siblings, Juanita Johnson and Edward Terry. She is survived by: her husband Herbert E. Short; her son Mark Short (Larry Short) of Dunbar; and her brother Cecil Terry (Grace) of South Charleston. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
