He is survived by: his sons, Joey B. Caruthers (Wendy) of Virginia Beach and Neil J. Caruthers (Ellen) of Dupont City; his grandchildren, Mindy Caruthers of DuPont City, Eric Caruthers of Belle, Jennifer Howell (Brian) and Jamie Caruthers of Virginia Beach; his great grandchildren, Jackson Caruthers of Dupont City, Quinn, Reese, Rori and Emersen Howell of Virginia Beach; and his nieces, Judy Miller and Pam Erwin of Looneyville.
