He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Jean Yeater Byers and Bernard B. Byers, Sr.; his siblings, Harry Byers, Ann Welch, Patty Uhl, Janet Dailey and Teedee Byers; and his granddaughter Clarissa Grace Freeland.
He is survived by: his wife Clarissa Mae Byers; and his daughters, Tamara McKinney (Tom) of Parkersburg, Robin Westbrook (Roger) of Belleville and Heather Freeland (Jim) of Belpre Ohio. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
