He is survived by: his wife Edna Roop; his children, Jessica Haynes, Samantha Smith (Steve), Michael H. Roop (Misty) and Stephanie Roop (Ara); his grandchildren, Nathan Haynes, Addie Smith, Michael J. Roop, Myla Roop and Amber Roop (Kenny); and his daughter Sister Ruth Lanham (Tex). He is also survived by 1 niece, 4 nephews and 3 great grandchildren.
