She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Dewey and Nellie Russell Sherrard Sheppard; her husband George John Michael; her son David Alan Michael; and her siblings, Anna Lucille Perry, Peggy Joan Kyne, Charles Russell Sheppard, Willard Dewey "Bill" Sheppard, Jr., Harry Vaughn Sheppard and Paul Franklin Sheppard.
She is survived by: her son John Aaron Michael of Shepherdstown, WV; and her brother Donald Hebert Sheppard of Berkeley Springs, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
