With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cecil S. McCumbee Jr. of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Cecil left this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil S. McCumbee, Sr. and Mary Catherine Carlisle; his former wife Linda Glendora Decker; and his brothers, Danny McCumbee and William H. "Butch" McCumbee.
He is survived by: his sons, Troy Lee McCumbee (Sheryl) of Berkeley Springs, WV and Tony Lee McCumbee of Berkeley Springs, WV; his siblings, Patricia Ann Hixon of Buck Valley, PA, Sherry Lee Pritchard of Berkeley Springs, WV, Rusty Lee McCumbee of Berkeley Springs, WV and Terry Lee McCumbee of Berkeley Springs, WV; his grandchildren, Chrissy, Amanda, Sam, Tori, Billy and Dillon; and his great grandchildren, Delilah, Brayden, Mia, Jackson, Keegan, Davey, River, Sawyer and Ronan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wesleyan Chapel (76 Vernon St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
