She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Daniel and Pauline Ruth Unger Youngblood; her daughter Cynthia Lea Lane; and her siblings, Martha Ann Youngblood, Eileen Miller, Irene Doyle and Vernon Youngblood.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Allen Cave of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Andrew Cave of Winchester, VA and Angela Lynn Poole of The Villages, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edie's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501.
