In loving memory of James Henry Percy of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, who departed this world on October 18, 2025 at the age of 78. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Delbert Percy and Betty Jane Hodkinson Percy; his half-sister Melody Ruppenthal; and his brother Robert Percy. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Louise Yost Percy; his son Dustin Percy (Jessica) of Berkeley Springs, WV; his stepmother June Percy of Lexington, KY; and his half-siblings, Theresa Cole of Lexington, KY, John Boyle of Hagerstown, MD, Robert Boyle of Berkeley Springs, WV and Charles Percy of Great Cacapon, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (6958 Winchester Grade Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
