He was predeceased by : his former life partner Vera Hoffer; and his brother William Hoffer. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Wright Hoffer; his siblings, Alice Hoffer Sinyard (Mike) and Dennis Hoffer (Lorie); his children, Barbara Battle (Michael), Tamara Hoffer, Michele Pokuta (Joseph) and Richard Hoffer (Kelly); his stepchildren, Ken Wright and Sharon Wright Stromberg (Chris); and his grandchildren, Sofia, Natalie, Dimitri Battle, Joseph, Jennifer Pokuta, Samantha, Madeline and Ruthann Hoffer.
