It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James R Michael of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladston Michael and Reba Unger Michael Myers; and his stepfather Paul Myers. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Lee Hewett Michael; his children, Christopher Paul Michael of Beaver Dam, VA, Romey Michael McGraw (Gary) of Berryville, VA and Brad Allen Michael (Beth) of Berkeley Springs, WV; his sister Judith Baisden (Ernest) of Shanks, WV; his grandchildren, Breanna, Odessa, Grant, Ava and Lily; and his great grandchildren, Iulieana and Leiden Romine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cacapon Resort State Park Lodge (818 Cacapon Lodge Dr, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
