He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Leroy and Gladys Mae Voight Haynes; his wife Joan Carolyn Fadeley Haynes; his son Jeffery Allen Haynes; and his siblings, Dixie Monroe, Sylvia Hungerford and Herbert L. Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Jerry Haynes, Jr. (Sharon) of Berkeley Springs, WV and Victoria Louise Bayer (Randall) of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his daughter-in-law Cher Ellene Haynes. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
