She is survived by: her father Henry Clay McBee, Jr.; her husband Gary Wayne Mellott, Jr.; her children, Franklin Herbert Hess II (Cortney Kesecker), Devon Taylor Mellott (Emma Grace Whiteman) and Jazmin Nicole Mellott; her sisters, Stacy Schultz and Lisa Jo Bachert; and her grandchildren, Reiley Sinead McDurFee, Halia Aven McDurFee, Franklin Herbert Hess IV, Wyatt Drew Hess and Scarlett Nicole Faith Henry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shelly's name may be made directly to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
