She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cox and Jessie Cox (Rowell); and her brothers, Charles and Tom Cox. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Carpenter (JD), Angie Braden, Brandon Barker and Brianna Surface (Kevin); her sister Sandy VanTongeren (Alan); and her grandchildren, Corey Braden, Lydianne Reagan, Haylee Surface and Easton Surface. She is also survived by great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
