He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Ella Watson Fuston; his siblings, Bobby Fuston, Elmer Carroll Watson Sr. and Carolyn Watson (Darlene Scott); and his son-in-law Jesse Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Adkins, Regina Watson (Jimmie Bodkin), Elmer "Fudgie" Watson (Michelle), Fred Watson and Caroline Henline (Russell); and his siblings, Jessie Watson, Junior Fuston, Glenda Hedrick and Arlene Knick Haney. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
