He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Mahoney and Ethel Javins Mahoney; his wife Barbara Butcher; and his siblings, Lillian Meadows and Douglas Mahoney.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory B. Mahoney (Elizabeth) of Beverly, Larry M. Mahoney of Beverly and Derek S. Mahoney (Kathy) of Elkins; his grandchildren, Laurn Mahoney Lee (Frankie) and Casey Mahoney (Read Schumacher); and his sisters, Lorraine Meadows of Springfield, VA and Zella Graves of Valley Bend. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that donations be made in Larry's name to the Randolph County Humane Society, PO Box 785 Elkins WV 26241.
