He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Hornick and Elsie Fansler Hornick; his wife Sandra Sue Currence; his siblings, Fred, Gilbert Hornick, Loretta Hornick Bennett and Nancy Hornick Srnsky; and his in-laws, Junior and Elsie Ware Currence.
He is survived by: his daughter Dixie Hornick; his grandson Jacob (ManDi Glover Hornick); his great grandchild Ava Hornick; his siblings, Carolyn Hornick Pingley and Frank Hornick; his siblings-in-law, Norma Bennett Hornick, Marla Currence Pennington, Michael (Pam Currence) and Tom Stephens; and his children, Jimmy, Amanda, Amy and Abby.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elkins Family Worship Center (1402 Taylor Ave, Elkins, WV 26241). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
