He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay O. Yeager and Eula Bush Yeager; his former wife Martha Ann Vargo Yeager; his wife Leona Stull Yeager; his son John Yeager; his siblings, Doug, Carson, Kenny, Pauline, Addie and Rieta; and his brother-in-law Johnny.
He is survived by: his son Bill Yeager; his daughter-in-law Patricia; his grandsons, William Yeager (Kristen), Patrick Yeager and Andrew Yeager; his great grandchildren, Colin, Liam, Esmay of Delavan Wisconsin, Ellette of Delavan Wisconsin and Madison of Delavan Wisconsin; his stepsons, Rick Nester (Connie) of Parkersburg and Mike Nestor of Grantsville; his siblings, Phyllis Kerby of Glenville, Jimmy Yeager (Sharon) of Big Springs and Larry Yeager of Steubenville, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Charbo Trisdale of Tennessee and Pam Yeager of Illinois; and his niece Ronda Rose (Kevin) of Mt. Zion, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc.-Grantsville Chapel (107 Market St, Grantsville, WV 26147). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
