It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Titus of Big Run, West Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin C. Rice and Florence A. Willey Rice; her husband James W. Titus; her children, Ricky Titus and Karen Cross; her grandson Matt Titus; her daughter-in-law Maryfay Titus; her half-sister Louise Goodrich; and her siblings, Jerry Dale Rice, Tommy Rice, Doris Moore, Patricia Hostuttler and Lola Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Titus of Big Run, Timothy E. Titus (Glenda) of Coburn, Teresa Loy (Mark) of New Martinsville and Brandi Carson (Tim) of Big Run; her grandchildren, Greg (Beth Titus), Mike (Katrina Wright), Lisa Wright, Jonathan Cross (Mallory) and Tammy Chambers (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Brooke, Bailey Titus, Dylan Yoho, Autumn Wright, Tobi, Maci, Blaze Wright, Talan Chambers and Brandi Sams; her great great grandchildren, Cooper Sams, Serenity Wright, Dani Wright and Oliver Cross; and her siblings, Earl Rice, Donald Rice, Carl Rice, Susie Allen and Charlene Williams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
