He was predeceased by: his parents, Bethal Cook and Helen Cook; his sister Vickie Stewart; and his stepdaughter Jeanie Greiner. He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Cook; his stepchildren, Billy Ray Castle, Derek Castle Sr. and Susan White; his sister-in-law Mamie White; his grandsons, Derek Castle Jr. and Tylor Carter; his siblings, Nada, Gary Pauley of Peytona, Patricia, Stanley Cook of Bald Knob, Hazel and James Asbury of Brandywine; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Stewart of Williams Mountain, Steven, Carmon Cook of Bald Knob, Danny (Tina Cook), Jeff Gibson (Amanda) of Bald Knob and Barry Collins of Kenova. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews and 23 plus great nieces and nephews.
