It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Douglas Hines of Birch River, West Virginia, born in Webster Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe D. Sr., Hannelore "Honey" Hines, Forrest Hamrick and June Goff. He is survived by: his parents, Debbie Hamrick and Joseph D. Hines, Jr. (Patty) of Diana; his daughters, Tessa and Hannelore "Hanna" of Mt. Lookout; his siblings, Shelly Hines of Webster Springs, Angie Clutter (Jason) of Diana, Deanna Tomblin (Brian) of Hurricane, Sandy Cutlip (Dukk) of Diana, Joseph Hines of Diana, Justin Hines (Sierra Riffle) of Diana and Billy Hines (Asasha) of Hacker Valley; the mother of his children Crystal Hines; and his stepgrandparents, Jack and Rose Lee Burnsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, former military brothers, and many childhood friends.
