He was predeceased by : his parents, Buddy Elswick and Elsie Landers Elswick; his son Dewayne Debolt; and his siblings, Phylis Elswick, Jill Leedy, Thelma Johnson, Kay Allen, Dottie Adams, Eddie Dean, Ricky, Wendell, Robin and Junior Wayne Elswick.

He is survived by : his wife Roberta Katie Elswick; his stepchildren, Kimberly Blaney (Jay) and Steve Facemyer (Kim); his nephew Wendell Ray Elswick; and his siblings, Irma Belcher, Rita Creech (Fred), Teresa Elswick, Sophia Shannon (Richard), Randy Elswick and John Elswick (Lynn).
