He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Ratcliff Marchant and Dave Marchant; and his brother Calvin Marchant. He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Miller of Bluefield, WV and Alese Holzmeyer (Nathanial) of Patoka, Indiana; his grandsons, Andrew Miller and Alex Miller of Bluefield, WV; his great grandchild Charlotte Miller; his siblings, Emory Marchant (Cathy) of Lerona, WV, Elvin Leland "Chip" Marchant (Mary Dillow) of Bluefield, WV, Virginia Hampton and Dana Farley (Jimmy) of Princeton, WV; and his friends, James "Jimmy" and Jane Painter of Bluefield, WV.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
