He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Victoria Ferrell Dawson; and his wife Georgia Gaye Dawson. He is survived by: his former wife Pearl Dawson of Green Valley, WV; his daughter Frances Wolford of Green Valley; his stepdaughters, Norma McCoy, Ginger Day of Jolo, WV, Melvina Justice of Hurley, WV, Stella Justice of Panther, WV and Kristi Justice of Hurley, WV; and his grandchildren, Eva Maria Robinette, Glen Mitchell, Jr. and Brady Scott Mitchell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
