She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Walker and Vesta E. Hall Walker; her husband Gary "Russ" Shatley; and her brother Thomas Eugene Walker. She is survived by: her children, Melinda Shatley Adams (Art Gibson) of Bluefield, WV and Gary Shatley, II (Rebecca) of Bluefield, WV; her siblings, Lucy Hoops of Bluefield, WV, Carl Walker (Karen) of Salem, VA, Charlotte James of Bluefield, VA and Velma Walker of Bluefield, WV; her grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, Jacob, Taylor and Erowyn; and her great grandchildren, Emily and Alivia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
