He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude H. Johnson, Sr. and Cora Mae Thompson Johnson; his wife Betty Stowers Johnson; and his siblings, Margaret Tolbert, Claudine Bailey and Douglas Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Fariss of West Point, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
