She was predeceased by: her daughter Pamela Jean Morgan; her parents, Hershel Key and Carolyn Ashley Key; her former husband John Lewis Morgan; her husband Grover Thurel Sanders; her siblings, Ralph Key and Faye Key Privett; and her stepchildren, Linda Sanders Marshall, Anne Sanders Gombash and Beverly Gay Sanders Matusavich.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Lynn Morgan Solonka and Johnny Lee Morgan (Diane); her siblings, Gloria Key Pfalzer, Elizabeth Key Salvaldo, Bennie Key, Eugene Key, Jimmy Key and Randy Key; her stepson Ted Sanders; her grandchildren, Joshua Morgan, Brandon Solonka, Jeffery Sanders, Ivan Marshall, Russel Gombash, Kathy Gombash, Carolyn Gombash, Debbie Surface, Jenny Edward, Beth Stewart (Matusavich) and Barbie Perkins (Matusavich); her great grandchildren, Nicholas Frye, Robbie Surface and Sara Surface; and her siblings' children, Christie Key, Angela Key Lester, Rebecca Key, Amanda Key Towler, Jeffery Pfalzer, Kevin Key, Stephanie Koshiol, Mark Key, John Key, Joseph Key, Tony Salvado and Michael Privett.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Homes (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
