She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Mae Reese; her children-in-law, Edward Cardwell, James Dorsey, Robert Norton, Kelvin Isaac and Theresa Martin; her children, William of Cleveland Ohio, Benjamin of Cleveland Ohio, Michael (Tracey) of Cleveland Ohio, Helen Isaac, Joyce Cardwell, Nancey Martin Dorsey of Cleveland Ohio, Diane Thomas (Greg) and Charlene Martin of Lynchburg, VA; her siblings, David, Jimmy, Robert Jones (Teresa), Bernice Jones Glenn and Lillie Mae Slaughter of Cleveland, Ohio; her children-in-law, Bernard Murphy and Patricia Martin; her close friend Marvelene Simon; Mary Towers and Consuela Hall.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (5517 Pleasant Valley Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24504). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens (6605 New Hope Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
