She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Farrington and Vada Scott Farrington. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray McVey; her son Gerald Everett McVey; her granddaughters, Kristen Layne Wright and Kaitlin Marie Eanes; and her great grandchildren, Kade Lucas and Gunnar Wayne Wright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
