He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger M. Sluder and Lillian T. Dunford Sluder. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hall Sluder; his children, Allen and Sheila; and his siblings, Gary of Cape Coral, FL and Shelby Edge of Wismuma, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
