We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 87, Jo Ann Starling of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jo Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jo Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Junior Starling; and her son Fred Allen Starling. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Ann Starling (Van) of Olin, NC and David L. Starling (Becky) of Bluefield, WV; and her grandchildren, Josh Starling, Laycee Starling, Joyce Stephenson and Bryan Bryant. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
