He is survived by: his wife Karen Bolen; his sons, Johnny Bolen II of Jenkinjones and Jason Bolen of Jenkinjones; his siblings, Lonnie Bolden (Peggy) of Maiden, NC, Michael Bolden (Gloria) of Welch, WV, Mark Bolen of Beckley, WV, E. J. Bolen (Sissy) of O'Toole, WV, Carol Bolen of Kimball, WV and Renee Bolen (Glen) of Pageton, WV; his grandchildren, Tyler (Jaylen), Bryen, Jassie, Jaden and Brandy; and his great grandchild Mackenzie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
