He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brewster and Mary Brewster. He is survived by: his wife Michele Brewster; his children, Joe Brewster Jr. (Whitney Brewster), Sara Beth Stafford (Joey Stafford), John Brewster (Kasey Lowery) and Jake Lafritz (Kristin Lafritz); his siblings, James "Jim" Brewster Jr. (Annette Brewster) and Jennifer "Sissie" Brewster (Jonathan Wood); and his cousin Roger "Allen" Brewster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
