As Karen Kerri departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen Kerri. Though Karen Kerri may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Poe and Glenna Martin Poe; and her siblings, Mark Poe and Kathy Poe. She is survived by: her spouse Rhonda Goode; and her siblings, Charles Poe (Linda), Michael Poe (Patty) and Sherri Poe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
The family asks in lieu of flowers to make a contribution in Kerri's name to either the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741 or the Mercer County Animal Shelter at 961 Shelter Rd, Princeton, WV 24739.
