He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Beckner and Nora Perkins Beckner; and his siblings, Robert Beckner, Ernest Beckner (Buddy), Wayne Beckner, Helen Hedrick, Ruth Combs, Eloise Odonnell and Pauline Branscomb.

He is survived by: his brother Frank Beckner (Janice) of Middletown; his nieces, Karen Saddler, Kathy Cordle and Debra West; his close friend Tommy Adams; and his friend Vicky Salyers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
