He was predeceased by: his parents, James Austin and Vera Austin; his nephew Luke Austin; his brothers, J. Rudy Austin and Dr. William "Bill" Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Gibson and Terry Lampert.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Austin; his sons, Brandon Austin (Krystin), Clay Austin and Chase Austin (Harley); his granddaughters, Claire and Elise Marie Austin; and his sister Vera Lee Austin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
